This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Everywhere you look there is evidence of the emerging digital classroom. Right now however our classroom is divided between the digital and physical worlds.

I teach United States History to a wonderful group of inquisitive and motivated students.

In our classroom we do a number of projects which help keep student engagement high and lead to increased students learning. These projects include everything from students creating broadsides for the 13 colonies to advertisements for the Homestead Act of 1862.

My Project

However, one constant issue is taking student work and making it digital. My students are often more interested in the work of their peers than the textbook. However, it is inefficient to share hundreds of projects with hundreds of students. In comes an HP All-in-One Printer to the rescue. With it's tray fed scanner one could quickly and easily take student work into the digital age. The color printer would also allow student projects done on the computer to be printed out.

This HP All-in-One Printer is the perfect bridge to connect my physical classroom and my digital classroom.

I believe this will greatly increase student achievement. Thank you very much for your consideration.
