Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are eager to learn about other places, and animals. Unit three from Benchmark Advanced was their favorite because they learned about habitats. They enjoyed learning about what animals live in the different habitats. Therefore, these materials will make a difference in their learning. The multicultural books I am ordering will be another great opportunity for my students to learn about other countries and their cultures.
Unit Six in Benchmark Advanced is about cultures and how literature gives us information on other cultures.
Having the multicultural books in my classroom will be incredibly amazing because the essential question in this unit is “What can different cultures teach us?”
