My Project
My students have worked incredibly hard this year to raise money for a well deserved end of year trip to Florida. We will have the opportunity to participate and perform in a workshop on the Art of the Foley. This workshop will take students backstage and into the studios where movie soundtracks are recorded. They will get to play a piece from Despicable Me while the movie plays along on a giant screen.
This trip is a once in a lifetime opportunity for many of my students.
They have worked so hard to raise enough money to go on this trip. The materials we are requesting will be incredibly helpful for the students going on the trip. Having a backpack to carry their things, waterproof pencil pouches to hold money and electronics, and sunglasses and sunscreen to protect themselves from the hot Florida weather in May will make a huge difference.
