Traveling back and forth between schools can be challenging. I have two classrooms at both schools to support my students. Both schools are within five minutes of each other. This opportunity allows me to work with twice the number of students.
My third and second graders enjoy hands-on activities, as well as getting the opportunity to be creative and explore the world.
They enjoy getting the opportunity to move around the classroom and learn in various environments.
While I can take some materials with me between schools, I need to leave other materials behind. My students deserve to have classrooms that are fully stocked with materials for their needs. I am a new teacher and working towards getting more materials for my students.
My Project
This project is a continuation of our first flexible seating project. My math students love the three chairs we were able to get previously. This current project will help us expand our flexible seating options so that more students can have the opportunity to sit somewhere different. These fun chairs can be used as a reward. In addition, they will help students be more comfortable as they work on math. As a result, students will be more focused in completing their work. We are hoping to build our flexible seating collection in stages.
