My Project
This project will support children who have or are experiencing some form of trauma. My student population is composed primarily of military children and low-income families. These children experience many levels of trauma, from frequent moves, changing schools frequently, to unstable housing.
The items have been selected based on research and designs presented in the book "Classroom 180".
It is important for students to feel safe and comfortable so they can focus on learning and being children. It is my passion to provide them the best learning environment I can, where children are nurtered and valued.
