Trauma Informed Becomes Trauma Competent to Heal Children!

Help me give my students Social, Emotional and Sensory regulation materials to help heal their trauma.

My Project

I have spent the entire 25+ years of my career in Early Childhood Education working with, educating, loving and healing young children who have been affected by trauma of all sorts. The last 3 years have seen a drastic increase in the number of children who come into our Head Start program seriously affected by the trauma that the Covid Pandemic caused.

This year I am starting a new position as an Itinerant Special Education Teacher and would love to share tools, games, materials and experiences to help these little ones thrive, grow, learn and regulate their emotions through play.

I will work one on one and in small groups with 10 classrooms and hope to create a traveling office full of all the things needed to teach children to live themselves while learning to identify, embrace and express their emotions.

Your donations will help me reach all the children in our program and ensure they all find their inner resilience.
