My students need acrylic paint, varnish, and surface sanding tools.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Helbig's classroom raised $510
This project is fully funded
I teach visual art to students ranging from K-8. My students come from a high need community. They really desire to please and need to be provided with rewarding experiences that allow them to learn, have fun, and meet their desire to please.
Because our resources are limited our school has prioritized spending monies on programs and initiatives focused on boosting standardized test scores.
This project will improve the overall appearance of the learning environment. Students will decorate old metal garbage cans and bring them back to life with art as the avenue to do so. It will also place a focus on trash depositories so that children can more easily locate them and hopefully demonstrate more responsibility at keeping our school clean.
I know that my students will love this project. They suggested it in the first place. Won't you help my school look less "trashy" and more classy by reviving our trash cans.
