This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a class of 20 energetic, eager-to-learn, adorable 5-year-old students. Children at this age are like sponges, soaking in all they learn around them. For my class project, "TRANSPORTing Into Readers In Kindergarten," I am requesting books centered around the theme of transportation. My goal for this project is to immerse my students in various fiction and nonfiction books centered around a common theme- transportation. Another goal I have is to provide my students with books that teach about different modes of transportation, how they move, how they look, and what they do. It is my goal to provide my students with books of interest to help my students fall in love with books and fall in love with learning. Please help me turn this dream into a reality by donating to my class project.
