My Project
There are a number of young English Language Learners who just came to this country in my class. Their limited English proficiency causes inability of comprehending academic materials in all classes, especially in science and social studies, which require high level of English to understand the text. Mostly, my young English language learners stared at the materials and have no clue what it was about. One time, I took out my cell phone and used Google Translate to translate the English materials into Chinese and Spanish by taking a picture of the material. With the help of translation, my young English Language Learners amazed me by their responses.
Samsung tablets with Google Translate enables my students to learn academic contents with ease and amaze me by their beautiful contributions to the class.
Google Translate can additionally help my students and me communicate with each other. Moreover, Google Translate on Samsung tablets are easy to carry around and take a picture with to translate whatever my students are learning and to enhance academic learning.
