My Project

These translation devices will help communicate with students in a significant manner. I serve as the technology coordinator and help students with computer needs often. I also teach classes where language differences create huge obstacles. Yesterday alone we had five new students who needed devices and none of them spoke English. Our school community thrives on diversity and it can be exasperating for students to have needs that they cannot communicate well. These translators would be invaluable and would impact thousands of students and their families when they come in for needs, too.
