Translation Device Needed for English Language Learners
Help me give my students the ability to communicate. I have multiple students who are new to the country and learning English. These translation devices would be so incredibly helpful in being able to communicate with them.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Colvin's classroom raised $251

My Project
I am always so amazed with our students who are new to the country and have such a strong desire to learn and do well. The biggest challenge for them to access the information is the language barrier. While I translate as much as I can for them, they still are unable to understand when I'm giving instruction or explaining something. Our school has a no cell phone policy, which makes it really hard to use google translate because we don't always have access to a laptop. I really want to be able to provide my students an equitable opportunity to learn and also be able to build strong relationships with them.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
