Transitioning to Online Learning

Help me give my students the best online learning experience possible! The 2020-2021 school year is our year!

My Students

In the fall, if the Governor and Department of Education approve our district's plan, I will be teaching online and students will be learning at home. My students are part of a low-income community and are making the transition to become online learners. My students are dancers, artists, singers, writers, and architects. They create beautiful works of art depending on their subject of study. Every day I am blown away by their way to question the topic we studying and creativity.

My Project

These materials will help my students' learning by providing instruction through videos. I want to create videos that will simulate the experience of a student watching the instruction of the lesson. Students will be able to watch these videos and take the lesson at their own pace. It provides more flexibility and choice in student's learning.

When we are able to come back together in a safe way, my students and I can use these materials to create videos about the content they are learning.

I love doing projects with my students. It helps to respond to the different learners in my classroom. Through these materials, I want to make sure my students feel apart of our learning community.
