Transitioning to 3rd Grade!

Help me give my students by donating these items to my 3rd grade class. This is my first year teaching beyond 2nd grade, so I needed to purchase a few things for my classroom. I appreciate it you!

My Project

As I prepare to teach third grade for the first time, I’m focused on creating a welcoming, structured classroom that supports every learner. Although I haven’t met my students yet, I know this group will be curious, energetic, and eager to explore new ideas. Third grade is a big year for academic and social growth, and I want to make sure my students have everything they need to feel confident, supported, and excited to learn each day.

Every item I’ve requested will play a role in helping students stay focused, organized, and engaged throughout the school day.

A classroom rug will give us a shared space to gather, collaborate, and build community. Pencil organizers, folders, and crates will keep our materials neat and easy to access, helping students develop independence and responsibility. Supplies like glue, markers, and dry erase boards will allow for interactive lessons that make learning visible and fun. The countdown timer will support time management during transitions, while headphones will give each student the chance to focus during assessments and digital activities. Tissues will help keep us comfortable during the winter months.

My two main goals are to create an organized, well-managed classroom where students can focus on learning, and to provide a safe, supportive space where every child feels like they belong. These materials will help me meet both goals by supporting our routines, instruction, and daily interactions. Your support will make a meaningful difference in helping my students grow, succeed, and enjoy their time in third grade.
