Transforming the World Through the Power of Each Individual Book
Help me give my students an exceptional reading experience by acquiring the Holes book. Through Holes, students will grasp the significance of kindness.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
By immersing ourselves in the world of Holes, we hope to not only appreciate the complexities of the narrative but also to draw parallels to our own lives and experiences. Additionally, we will engage in discussions, activities, and projects that will allow students to explore themes such as friendship, perseverance, and redemption.
Through this comprehensive encounter with the story, my students will not only improve their critical thinking and analytical skills but also develop a deeper appreciation for the power of storytelling.
By choosing kindness as a central theme to focus on, we aim to instill in our students the importance of empathy, compassion, and understanding in their interactions with others.
Overall, the possession of a complete set of Holes will serve as a valuable tool in our educational journey, allowing us to explore, learn, and grow together as a community of learners.
