Transforming the Classroom Into Candy Land for Review! (Title I)

My Project
I am currently in my 13th year of teaching. Each year, I try to challenge myself to try new things or to be more creative with my teaching practices. One new idea that came to me recently was to create a classroom transformation that had a "Candy Land" theme. This "class-formation" would be meant for the end of the year, to help not only keep the kids excited and engaged towards the end of the year, but also to help review important concepts from throughout the year in all subject areas.
This project would help purchase items for a Candy Land classroom transformation.
Many of the items can be reused over many school years, which is a bonus. Not only am I requesting decorations to make the room extra engaging and exciting for this time of the school year, but items to be used in review games throughout the transformation. My idea is to decorate the room in a Candy Land theme. Throughout the floor, for example, would be colorful pieces that are also being requested in this project. They would be both decorative as well as used as game pieces for the kids to walk on throughout the review games. The games will be created by me to help review important concepts, mostly from our 2nd-grade math and ELA curriculum. I will also create games to review concepts from our science and social studies units. Students will get to earn large lollipops and other treats at the end of the review game!
