This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are like butterflies. They are transformed from caterpillars to butterflies. When my students entered our Prekindergarten class they were shy, insecure but full of wonder as they were entering a new stage in their young life. They have changed from not knowing their letters, numbers and shapes to flying with their new knowledge.
They extremely love hearing me read new stories, which sometimes leads to "Teacher, read the book again." Help them take home a good and exciting book to remember to keep reading and learning while they are on their summer break.
