This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having a smart board in the classroom would allow me to provide my students with a much more interactive and engaging learning experience. Many of my students wear glasses and struggle to read information displayed on the traditional whiteboard. This makes it harder for them to fully engage with the content and participate in lessons. Additionally, students often enjoy learning through videos, especially those that connect with science topics. Unfortunately, the current projector we use in class doesn’t offer great resolution or sound quality, which can make it difficult for students to fully appreciate and understand the content.
A smart board would solve these issues by offering clear, high-quality visuals and sound, making videos and interactive lessons much more accessible.
It would also allow me to easily adjust the size and clarity of the content, ensuring that all students, regardless of their visual needs, can engage with the material. I believe upgrading the classroom with a smart board would significantly enhance my students’ learning experience, helping them stay engaged, focused, and better equipped to succeed in science and beyond.
