I am thrilled to announce the launch of our very first Yearbook/Photography Club! This exciting new venture will provide students with a unique opportunity to showcase their talents and develop skills that reach beyond the classroom.
These exceptional students will document our school’s most memorable moments, gaining invaluable skills and experience.
Your support will equip our budding photographers with the tools and knowledge to cultivate visual storytellers! The studio lighting and light meter will be used to teach students some basic ins-and-outs of studio photography. The camera will not only be used to capture yearbook photos but will also allow students to be our special event photographers using the backdrops and lighting to offer timeless memories for our families.
Goals:
Master Photography Basics: Learn how cameras work and essential photo techniques.
Develop Editing Skills: Gain proficiency in photo editing software.
Explore Studio Lighting: Understand professional lighting techniques.
Learn Print Ordering: Get hands-on experience with the business side of photography.
Capture School Events: Serve as the official photographers for yearbook and special events.
MATH: Understanding ratios when editing to print teaches math concepts!
