My Students
Imagine walking into kindergarten without any preparation. No interaction with other kids, classrooms or teachers. Scary, huh? My classroom helps prepare students so they do not have to be overwhelmed in a new environment. I help these students form their basic and fundamental skills before jumping into the big world of general education kindergarten.
The students in my classroom vary in skill levels, age, gender, and race.
However, they all share one thing in common. They are so excited to learn!
My Project
The train center is a favorite among all of my students! However, between multiple moves, construction, and lots of love, our train table has some extensive wear and tear. This makes it difficult for students to access their favorite center.
A new train table would allow for more learning opportunities in the areas of language, social/emotional skills, math, literacy, and fine motor.
Students would have access to this center every day to work on the skills listed above all while having fun. With your help, we can inspire our kiddos to learn through play!
