This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Research was done on the brain and shows that muscle memory helps retain the information.
After cutting the pipe down to 12” sections, students slide the tube onto their arms as they write the letter/words in the air.
The research says that it signals to the back of the brain and stores the information there. If the student bends the elbow or wrist, it doesn’t store and stay in memory. Therefore, using the pvc pipe on the arm acts like a cast to prevent the movement of the elbow or wrist.
