My Project

My students have been engaging in Vertical Learning in collaborative work groups for reading. Now I want to broaden their learning using Vertical Learning style to demonstrate their mathematical thinking skills using magnetic manipulatives!

Students struggling with mathematical addition and subtraction concepts will greatly appreciate the ease of using math base-ten magnetic manipulatives.

While struggling moving from concrete to abstract thinking, students can simply focus more on the taught concept of adding sums or subtracting differences and hopefully moving on to trading. Soon they will be able to show their understanding of adding and subtracting and more!
