This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle and positive values among our students through participation in sports activities. However, to maximize the impact of our efforts, we need a better understanding of how these activities influence students' physical attitudes and values.

This project aims to implement a comprehensive tracking system that allows us to collect data on students' physical attitudes and values while participating in sports activities.

We will use wearable technology, such as activity tracking devices and heart rate monitors, to record students' physical activity and vital signs during sports sessions using the iPad.

Additionally, we will design surveys and questionnaires to assess students' values before and after participating in sports activities. We will focus on values such as teamwork, perseverance, respect, and self-esteem.

Project Objectives:

Collect data on students' physical activity during sports sessions.

Record students' vital signs during physical activity.

Evaluate students' values before and after participating in sports activities.

Analyze the collected data to identify patterns and trends in students' physical attitudes and values.

Use the results to adjust and improve our sports and values education programs.

We need the iPad to collect data in real time and teach the students what values they are working on so that they can be aware of their effort at all times.

My students are mostly newcomers to the country; this can be a great opportunity to educate and motivate them to engage in healthy sports activities.
