This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have 30 wonderful Second Grade Students who are energetic and excited about school and learning.
We have all made a commitment to eat healthy and exercise to help us become fit for our annual Track and Field Event.
However, we need help with equipment. We are in need of batons, javelins, stopwatches and whistles to help us get in shape so that we can compete.
With this equipment , we will be able to practice and workout daily. Students will become motivated and excited about daily routines of getting physically fit while getting ready for competition.Having donors donate to our class for our Sports Matter would be so awesome for the students. We would be extremely appreciative for the opportunity.
My Project
My students need the necessary materials to help them train and get in shape. My goal is to introduce our students to the sport of Track and Field while also getting them physically fit. In order to achieve this goal, we are in need of batons, javelins, stopwatches, and whistles.
Proper training equipment is essential in preparing students successfully for their Track and Field Event.
Active students do much better in school. They feel fit, they are more alert in class, they eat healthy and overall feel good.
Giving them the opportunity to work out , keep fit, and eat healthy is all part of becoming an awesome student and athlete. Students will look forward to attending school. I hope our project is funded so that I can give them the opportunity to feel confident and positive about themselves.
