Help me give my students a variety of activities, games, lessons, and labs by allowing me the opportunity to buy resources from TPT so that I can put more time into building more meaningful projects.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a public middle school located in a rural area. We are a Title I school with 100% free and reduced meals. Most of my students are underprivileged and do not have supplies for class.
My classroom is a place where we focus on building up our inner scientist as well as our own self-confidence.
I am not only teaching these students 8th grade content, but I am preparing them for high school by teaching them organizational skills, self advocacy, planning skills, & confidence.
My students are always excited to do labs, experiment, and learn. I had an influential teacher that had many student-based activities as well as team building activities. I want to inspire my students the same way.
My Project
Teachers Pay Teachers is a great resource that I used last year during Covid. I really like the plethora of activities, games, and lessons that are available at just a click of a mouse. TPT has wonderful materials such as templates, science labs, games, activities that allow my students to stay engaged throughout an entire unit.
Having the opportunity to buy resources from TPT allows me to put more time into building more meaningful projects for my Science students.
Task cards, vocabulary flashcards, lab activities, web-quests, etc will allow my students to maximize their learning.
