Toys to Facilitate Cooperative Play and Problem Solving!

My Students

In my preschool I teach the most incredible 3 to 5 year olds who are just beginning the journey of learning in a school environment. About three quarters of my students are receiving services from the special education teacher and/or the Speech and Language Pathologist. A few are also learning a second language.

All of my students are actively involved in their education and developing numerous skills that will help them succeed for years to come.

My Project

In my preschool classroom most of my student's learning and development of skills happens through play. These materials will help to facilitate the opportunity for play based learning, social engagement and problem solving opportunities.

It is always more fun to learn when it's done through play.

The dollhouse, dollhouse furniture and people will help to facilitate pretend and cooperative play. The foam blocks and car ramp will provide students with the opportunity to develop an understanding of early math concepts and problem solving skills. I know that these materials would help my students to develop early skills that they will use throughout their life!
