Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am currently partnering with parents to increase student communication for those who use AAC devices (e.g. communicate with an iPad). I am meeting with parents weekly to teach them more about their student's communication iPad and how to model language with the iPad.
Please help me achieve this goal by purchasing toys that promote communication, and that students can take home with them!
I would love the opportunity to model language and AAC/iPad use with toys that parents could then take home and use to model in their home environment. Help us as we provide the opportunity for these students to access language across their day and learn how to communicate!
