My Project

I am a brand new SLP and am hoping to expand on my collection of play materials, so my students can have fun and interactive materials during their speech and language therapy sessions.

Play-based therapy is the most natural and meaningful form of therapy to expand on and improve communication.

I wish to help bolster my students' communication skills in fun and engaging activities that can be used for students working on any target area (e.g., articulation, social language, expressive and receptive communication). Many of the dramatic play schemes I hope to use with my students will enable them to experience activities such as camping, which they might not have had exposure to before.
