Toys and Equipment For All Abilities

My students need various toys and equipment so that all of my students no matter their ability can participate in our classroom activities.

My Students

In an inclusion preschool class, every child wants to and should be included with their peers.

My class is half special needs students and half typically developing students.

The age range is from 2 to 5 years old. Our school is located in a working class neighborhood with lots of military families. My students love school and the fun activities we do each day.

My Project

These various items will allow my students with special needs to participate in activities with their peers, as well as giving sensory input for all of the students. The auditory mat will allow a visually impaired student to play by using his hearing, the bear cup will assist my students who have a hard time drinking through a straw, and the bubble blower is an easy way for all of my students to make bubbles.

Please help me to use these items so all of my students can participate and learn in our daily preschool activities.

Children do not see the disabilities of their peers this project will allow those lines to be even more invisible.
