Toy Cars for Teaching Play Skills!

Help me give my students the toys to practice play and social skills with their classmates!

My Project

I teach a new group of very busy boys ages 7 and 8 in a severe and profound classroom. Most of my students are on the spectrum and have difficulty with making friends, independent play skills, and communication. We are currently learning play skills and learning to work together as a group.

They love to play, are eager to move, and their curiosity is infectious.

I want to provide materials to them that will help them thrive in learning social and play skills in the classroom with their peers. I would love to help them to grow in our classroom!

With the donation of these toy cars, we can use them in the classroom to help improve my students' gross motor skills, improve play skills, and use them for communication lessons with our picture symbol exchange system by appealing to their interests (Cars) since these areas of adaptive skills is underdeveloped in students on the spectrum.
