My Students
This project will focus on students on my caseload. These students all have disabilities, and have individualized education plans. Specifically, I have a few that are visually impaired and require extra technology support. I will use this technology in College prep Biology classes, and College prep Chemistry classes that I team teach.
The technology in this project will help to bridge the achievement gap in math and science for students with disabilities who come from families with a low income.
My students are energetic, excited, and motivated to achieve in school. They are always eager to use technology, and meet the requirements for their classes. The enhancements on this chromebook will allow them to manipulate the class materials, and stay on track with the classes, and their peers.
My Project
This laptop will make a difference in the College prep Science classes that I teach. The students with disabilities will benefit on a daily basis from having the extra technology on this laptop.
I have one student with a visual impairment that will really love the ability to enlarge, zoom, and use the touchscreen to work on the same materials as the other students.
This laptop will help to give students a well deserved technology that will enhance the daily tasks in a college prep high school classroom. We are very excited to use this technology, and appreciate the support.
