My students need an Apple iPad to be able to experience modern technology. Also, this iPad will be a great motivator to students!

My Students
What 7th grader wouldn't want an iPad? Students would not even realize that they are learning on this device. I want students to experience new and modern ways of learning new information. I also dream that students will be more comfortable with new software and technology, aside from Facebook!
My students are a great group of 7th graders.
Some students really need an extra push to become involved in lessons. Some would like to just tune out the whole class. With this iPad hooked up to an LCD projector, everyone will be engaged. Most people at my school have never even seen an iPad before. This one iPad could be the first of many once people see how valuable this tool can be in education.
My Project
I can't wait to download educational apps, videos, music, e-books, and other new technology on this iPad. With the VGA adapter, I will be able to share everything with the whole class. Also, students can quickly research information and books online quickly. Students would love to use these sites in class as a reward. Please help them have that chance!
To put an iPad into the hands of a student is like putting the future in their hands!
These students must become connected and comfortable with technology in order to survive in the modern world. I want to show them that there is more to technology than MP3 players and video games. However, I cannot afford this on my own. Please consider donating to our project. It will mean the world to us!
