Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A typical day in my classroom is fun but rigorous for the kindergartners. We use technology in the focus lessons of both math and reading. Also, a lot of my students come from lower-income families and 100% of my campus receives free lunch. Every day we start our day off with a cheer about being important! I want my students to not only hear this every day but also be treated like they are important! Children in this day and age need access a multitude of resources.
Being in Pre- Kindergarten, many of our students struggle with the basic needs of learning, especially with staying organized with their school belongings and work within the classroom.
I am hoping to get seat storage sacks to hold their important journals, work and supplies.
With the seat sacks, it allows the students to keep all their important supplies easily accessible as well as organized.
I would love for the students to have as much learning space as possible for them to be successful in all their areas of educational learning.
If they are able to be organized it makes them easier to be successful both in school and out of school. Seat sacks are smaller than the ones I currently have which will allow the students to stay more organized without having to worry about their journals and work getting in their way. Seat sacks for the win!
