This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These supplies will give my students an opportunity to personally design an item they can use in their daily lives. The goal for this project is for students to envision a design for a tote bag and then see it come to life. I know my students have untapped creative potential. I want them to have the experience of seeing an idea all the way through until it is a finished product.
This tote bag design project will allow my students to express themselves creatively and make something with their own two hands.
They do not get these kinds of opportunities often enough! My students will come away from the project with something they can actually use or gift to someone they care about.
