This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a small rural school outside of Lubbock, Texas. We strive to learn and improve everyday. My students are creative and caring. They enjoy coming to school and interacting with their peers and teachers. There is a family atmosphere in our school that encourages growth in all aspects of their lives.

My Project

Having technology like this iPad and pen in the classroom allows students enhance their learning by adding educational apps and websites to the already rigorous lessons we teach. They will be excited to learn by using this technology during station, intervention, and small group settings. They can use it with partners to practice math concepts or use it to help create projects. I will also be able to use this new technology to easily record my lessons and post them to Google Classroom for all of my online learners. It will also be a helpful tool for grading online assignments.
