Mrs. Fisher from Philadelphia PA is requesting technology through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need the “Smart Response” system which comes with 30 clickers. This will allow me to prepare quizzes and exams and give my students multiple assessment options for formative and summative assessments.

At the present time I’m teaching second grade. There are 25 students in my classroom who range in ages from 7 to 8 years old. My students come from a variety of different races, religions and cultures. Some of my student’s have various disabilities.
Excited to be in second grade.
That’s how I would explain my second graders. They get really excited when I inform them that we are going to learn something new today. Their eyes get wide and they start to wiggle around in their seats waiting in excitement to find what the new lesson will be.
This year I'm working on 100% participation and differentiated assessment options. Using the requested classroom responder system with my student’s will allow me to prepare quizzes or exams in advance and ask spontaneous questions to gauge student comprehension at any point during a lesson with 100% participation. Students don’t need to raise hands their answer will be anonymous.
Active learning allows students to interact with ideas instantly and gives them access to new technology.
Students' will have the ability to ask questions, offer suggestions, and brainstorm solutions in the flow of instruction that will result in increased content mastery for my second graders.
