Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
By using these textures, and sensory items, we will empower students to communicate and express themselves – be it through speech or sign, touch or movement, gesture or sound, art or dance.
Our goal is to teach students how to express themselves, form a base for learning and offer a starting point on which to build communication development.
A positive environment that will help students communicate and interact, as they develop, learn, communicate, and interact with the world.
Despite their disabilities I believe they value and uses all methods of communications to communicate, understand and be understood.
