This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We all know how important it is to have a nice smile. Imagine not being able to brush your teeth every day and having cavities that go untreated and are painful. Many of the students at my school have tooth decay and don’t have dental care. They come to school with toothaches and sore gum, which affects their ability to focus and learn.

My project will provide students with a toothbrush and toothpaste so we can help prevent tooth decay and the problems that go along with poor dental hygiene.

We hope to start good habits early so they will have a lifetime of smiles.
