My Project
Students benefit from wood shop by learning lifetime skills and by having fun during the school day. We also reinforce reading and math skills as students work on projects. Since the pandemic, the price of materials and tools has drastically increased. We have been struggling to replace our used equipment and having enough supplies for students in our wood shop class.
The sanders and drills will be used to help students complete their projects.
These tools will replace things that have broken over the past few years. The rulers will replace damaged items that are hard to read. The sandpaper will improve the quality of my students projects. Sand paper has gotten so expensive that I was not able to order any to start the year. Finally the safety glasses will be replacing glasses that are 5 years old and very scratched up. Students look forward to their elective classes. They are bright spots for many students who do not like or struggle in the regular classrooms. Please help our students enjoy their time at school.
