Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are creative, resilient, and full of potential. They just learn differently—and that’s okay! Many of them are autistic, have ADHD, or other health impairments, and they thrive with structure, movement, and calming supports. The resources I’m requesting—like sensory tools and calming materials—will help them stay regulated and focused. This means more time in the general education classroom, learning with their peers. Every item will make a real difference in helping them feel safe, understood, and ready to learn. They love to be included in Gen Ed class, and with these tools, they can be successful.
