My Project

For the last few I have had the amazing opportunity to teach my students swimming because our school has a pool. Many parents and students in our community do not know how to swim but understand it is a vital life skill that can enhance your life in many aspects. The past few years I have realized that students have enough on their plate just bringing their suits. Most students do not have towels and definitely do not have any flotation devices which made them a little hesitant to get in and get their faces in the water. Having these items can make students feel that they belong in the water learning with the rest of their classmates.
