This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kindergarteners will be engaging in the creation of a Kinder-Garden for the entrance to the building that houses Kindergarten. We have tools, soil and seeds but are in need of a hose and a hose cart to water our garden and a transporting cart for our tools and seedlings.
This project will help my students learn valuable lessons about life, the earth and stewardship.
Lessons that will have a positive impact on the way the students see the themselves, each other and themselves, as well as the world they live in. I am hopeful that this project will help my students build an awareness of nature, its wonders and how we can preserve it.
