My Project

As a dedicated educator, I strive every day to create a classroom environment where all students feel safe, inspired, and ready to learn. Many of the students I serve come from diverse backgrounds and may not always have access to the resources they need to succeed academically and socially.

By creating a DonorsChoose project, I’m seeking support to provide essential classroom materials that will enhance learning, support creativity, and address individual needs.

Whether it’s flexible seating to help students focus, literacy tools to foster a love of reading, or hands-on STEM materials to spark curiosity, every item requested is chosen with a clear purpose: to help my students thrive.

An iPad in the classroom is more than just a piece of technology it's a powerful learning tool that supports personalized instruction, enhances engagement, and opens the door to countless educational opportunities. In my classroom, an iPad would allow students to access interactive learning apps, practice foundational skills through educational games, listen to read-alouds, and conduct safe, supervised research for class projects.

It also allows me, as the teacher, to monitor student progress in real-time, differentiate instruction more effectively, and create inclusive experiences for students with varying learning needs, including English language learners and students with learning differences. Additionally, it can be used during small group centers for enrichment or intervention, making it a flexible and essential resource in our daily routine.

An iPad will help bridge the digital divide, give my students access to 21st-century tools, and make learning more interactive and fun.
