My Students

I want my students to be excited to come to school every day. If you were to take a tour around my classroom, you would see a classroom that screams, "Learning is fun and exciting!"

They are very energetic and have a thirst for knowledge.

My students learn better when they are given the opportunity to explore. In order to develop every student's mathematical and reading proficiency, I would love to integrate the use of manipulative into my daily math instruction and whisper phones to increase fluency and phonemic awareness . My Project

These resources will help tremendously with many skills, such as, being able to hear themselves read using the whisper phones. In the primary grades, it is crucial that students work on phonemic awareness and fluency. These whisper phones will provide students the opportunity to hear themselves read during small reading groups and read to self time. The rods that I am requesting will enable my students to work in interactive, hands-on groups and help them facilitate their own learning during math and reading. Students will gain number sense while using the rods.

Getting these resources will enhance math and reading lessons, student practice, math talk, and engagement with hands-on, manipulative-based, activities!

Donations to this project will be greatly appreciated and will definitely make an impact on my students. Thanks in advance for your support.
