Tools to Create Differentiate Lessons for Students with Learning Differences

I need phonics kits to develop and work with Reading and Math lessons I can create for students with learning differences.

My Project

Students with learning differences are challenging because most times the curriculums we're given don't provide us as teachers with the tools or skills to be able to reach our students with learning differences in small group instruction. I want to differentiate my lessons and I'd like to keep my tools organized by laminating them and using labels to identify what they are when I file them away while not in use but making them easy to find. The phonics kits will allow me to develop and small group lessons that will reach them where classroom lessons don't. The picture vocabulary cards will allow me to understand them in the languages they speak and translate their words to English since many of my students with learning differences are also new language learners. The story starters will help me develop lessons that will help them come up with ideas for writing stories when they struggle with recall and retell. The lego globe will help me develop a STEM activity with the students. The concrete Magnetic Math tools will allow me to develop small group Math lessons that will allow me to reach them in Math as well as literacy.

These tool kits for teaching phonics, vocabulary and math will allow me to learn how to modify my curriculum to support students that struggle with learning differences.

The construction paper, colored pencils and oil pastels will allow me to create additional resources in the form of Anchor Charts that are targeted specifically to my students needs and differences. The children's picture books will allow me to develop culturally responsive lessons that will reach my students with learning differences and varied needs and will be reflective of who they are.
