This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students now at days are dealing with a lot at home and at school. Students are coming into school not knowing how to deal or express their emotions. I plan on using the SPOT books, games, Lakeshore activities, situation cards, and other donated materials to help students express themselves in a safe protected environment. I would love to help and guide my students on how to verbalize their responses in complete sentences.
With the materials I would be able to create a center for the students to cope with their social emotional needs within the classroom.
