Tools That Help Support A Calm/Alert Mind For Learning
Help me give my students a classroom that is fully stocked with tools to work with different emotions. Emotions come and go each time, and I love to offer my students options to help them navigate big feelings.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I like to tell my students that our feelings change constantly, just like the weather. In my classroom, I like to provide students with tools and strategies that help students with emotional regulation. When minds are calm, more learning takes place. In order to support my students, I am in need of fidget tools, a calming corner tent and other tools that will allow students to find support during our busy school days. My goal is to allow my students to have the tools they need to work on feelings so that learning can take place.
My classroom is busy with 22 second graders that love to learn and explore.
My students are amazing and curious learners. They love being part of our classroom community. We draw work inspiration from bees and we call ourselves "busy bees".
My classroom is also in need of other supplies such as dry erase white board paddles for math and phonics class. In addition, I am in need of prizes for my treasure box. My students love to earn prizes for when they earn points. On Fridays I nominated two students of the week, and it is nice to have lots of fun prizes for them.
