My Project

Our school's theatre program is about to start its fifth year and we are in desperate need of set-building tools. Up until this point, sets were built at my family home, without student help. Now that my program includes a stagecraft class, set design and creation are an important part of my students' education.

Students deserve the opportunity to learn how to use construction tools to make theatre flats and other scenic pieces.

I would like to give students the ability to learn about important tools, such as saws and drills, in the safety of a classroom. I would also like to give my students a feeling of pride when the sets they construct are used in our school productions.
