Tools in Motion: Supporting STEM with a Mobile Workbench

My Project

In our middle school engineering classroom, students are constantly designing, building, and testing their ideas. Whether they're working on 3D printing projects, robotics, or hands-on STEM challenges, they need flexible, durable workspaces that can adapt to their creativity. Right now, our classroom lacks a mobile workbench that can support these dynamic activities. A mobile workbench will allow students to collaborate more effectively, move tools and materials where they’re needed, and safely complete projects that require space and stability.

It will also help me, as their teacher, demonstrate techniques and manage materials more efficiently during lessons.

This project will directly support our student engineers by giving them a professional-grade workspace that reflects the real-world environments they’ll encounter in future STEM careers. With your help, we can bring mobility, organization, and innovation to our classroom—one project at a time.
