My Project
Thank you for taking the time to consider this project. Though the cost is significant, I believe in the value of having the right tools to support success. In our math classroom, we are focused on more than just solving problems, we're developing the skills we need to succeed in high school, college, and beyond.
One of my core goals is to help students strengthen their organized, study habits, test prep, and note-taking skills, all essential for long term growth.
With the Five Star Flex 3-Subject Notebooks, students have the best of both worlds: the structure and portability of a notebook, with the flexibility and storage of a binder.
Traditional notebooks allow students to take notes and contain their own spaces, but it falls short once additional handouts, and important class materials come into play. It requires then that students have additional types of storage to help accommodate their learning. Bingers, on the other hand, offer that storage for materials, but they are cumbersome, and difficult to manage in tight spaces.
The Flex notebook will:
- Keep materials organized all year long
- Assist students in creating a personal study system
- Reinforce note-taking and test prep strategies
- Develop ownership and accountability for student learning.
I'd love to expose my current, and future, students to different types of learning materials that I feel can be beneficial to their learning both now and in the future. A flex binder is where I would like to start.
