This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kindergarten is an essential time for young learners to build the foundation for their future success. To ensure that our students have the tools they need to thrive, we are seeking support to provide them with engaging, hands-on learning materials that will make a lasting impact. Items like dry erase paddles, dry erase markers, magnetic clips, magnetic sentence strips, thick pencils, erasers, and sensory toys such as squishies will not only make learning more interactive, but they will also motivate our students to actively participate and grow. These materials will allow for real-time practice and instant feedback, creating a dynamic and fun classroom environment where children can build confidence and develop their skills in a meaningful way.

By providing these essential tools, we are setting our students up for success and inspiring them to become lifelong learners.

Sensory toys, like squishies, will also help students regulate their emotions and stay focused, supporting their social and emotional growth.
